We are strong alone, even stronger together!
We have been working closely with the Sonneninsel team in Seekirchen for several years. With our CELEBRATION EVENING, every first Thursday of Monday, we collect donations to support the organization.
Sonneninsel GmbH accompanies children and young people affected by cancer or other serious illnesses and their families back into everyday life - with great programs, therapy offers, joint excursions and much more.
We support the work of the Sonneninsel with full conviction. It is a super important institution in the region. We know 100% where the donations go, says Stefan Griesser, our wood market manager.
Since we couldn't do as many events as usual last year, we came up with something different:
- We asked you about your shopping experience in a survey at check-out. We collected an amount for every survey answered.
- In addition, the time between Christmas and New Year's Eve was used to collect donations again. For every purchase you made, we gave you a contribution to the Sonneninsel.
We are very pleased that we were able to continue the fundraising campaign last year. Last week we visited Sonneninsel GmbH and handed over our donations. ???? HERE you can find out more about the sunny island.
