Bona Quantum is a new generation of adhesives. This 1-component parquet adhesive ensures an excellent hold and optimal strength of the floorboards on the subsurface. It combines the advantages of hard-elastic and hard adhesives in one product. Bona products stand for high quality and guarantee perfect results over the life of the floor. This adhesive also impresses with its easy handling and quick setting with a very high initial adhesion.

A primer is usually not required.*

* If priming is necessary on a problematic subfloor, use Bona R410, Bona R540, or alternatively Bona R580. Sanding Bona R410 is not necessary if the primer surface remains clean and the parquet is bonded with Bona R850 within 24 hours. Any unevenness, depressions, holes, etc., must be filled with Bona H600, H610, or H650.

Suitable substrates(also with underfloor heating):

  • Cement screeds (CT) according to EN 13813. For accelerated screed systems, consult Bona application engineering!
  • Calcium sulfate (flowing) screeds (CA) according to EN 13813
  • Floors leveled with suitable cementitious leveling compound (at least 2mm thick, leveling compound must be resistant to plasticizers!)
  • Chipboard V100, OSB flooring panels (OSB 2- OSB 4) other dry and solid substrates (e.g. dry screeds)
  • Mastic asphalt screeds (AS) according to EN 13813 (sufficiently sanded) and other plasticizer-sensitive substrates require a protective primer with Bona R410 or Bona R540.
